Connecting To The World
Our engineering approach adds geographic diversity to traditional multi-homing, resulting in integrated connections across all our data centers. This means added protection, increased availability of network connections and high Internet accessibility for cloud-hosted applications and web sites. Using our private MPLS network, an interruption of Internet connectivity in Seattle automatically fails over to our Bellingham office for example. This virtual data center concept provides our clients with the opportunity to place services in several physical locations and have them operate as if they were in the next cabinet.
The northernmost point of the FiberCloud network is at the carrier hotel in Vancouver, BC, directly connected to a Canadian carrier. This additional protection adds international diversity to protect customers from US-based Internet interruptions.
Another unique feature that increases availability, we advertise our IPs across all our network connections. This provides our clients with extra protection for inbound traffic.
